Google Maps rank tracker
Google Maps rank tracker
Your Google Maps rank is not one number. It changes street by street. Maprank measures it from a grid of points across your service area, so you can see the whole surface instead of one sample of it.

Illustrative scan — each pin shows the Google Maps rank from that location
Why a grid
One rank number hides the thing you need to know
Ranking #1 at your own front door tells you very little. What matters is how far that #1 travels before it decays — because that distance is your actual catchment.
A single check averages away the problem
Most rank tools report one position for a keyword. Two businesses with the same reported rank can have completely different reach: one dominant across the whole metro, one strong only within a mile of the pin.
A grid shows the shape of your visibility
Scanning from many points turns that single number into a map. You can see which direction you are strong in, where you fall off, and which neighbourhoods a competitor is holding.
The shape is what changes when SEO works
Good local SEO usually does not move you from #8 to #1 everywhere at once. It widens the area where you already rank well. That is visible on a grid and close to invisible on a single number.
What you get
Built for tracking, and for proving it
Geo-grid scanning
Choose a keyword, drop a pin, pick a grid size and spacing. Maprank checks your Maps position from every point and renders it as a colour-coded map — green where you are in the top 3, amber through the top 10, red beyond it.
Before / after comparisons
Put any two scans side by side and read the delta: average rank, top-3 coverage, best rank, and how many grid points return you at all. This is the view that shows a client what changed.
White-label reports
Share a report under your own logo, colours and domain. Your client sees your brand on the artifact, not ours.
Agency dashboard
Every client, location and scan in one place, so a monthly reporting round is a review rather than an archaeology dig through screenshots.

Built by an agency that needed it
Maprank came out of Local SEO Bot, where we run local SEO for hundreds of businesses. We built the grid scanner because we needed to prove our own work, then made it a standalone tool.

FAQ
Google Maps rank tracking, answered
What does a Google Maps rank tracker actually measure?+
Your position in the Google Maps local results for a keyword, measured from a specific physical location. Because Google weighs the searcher's proximity heavily, that position is not one number — it changes street by street. A tracker that reports a single rank is reporting one sample of a surface that varies across your whole service area.
Why does my ranking differ depending on where I search from?+
Proximity is one of the strongest signals in the local pack. Someone searching from two miles north of you and someone searching from six miles south are shown different sets of businesses. That is why a grid of measurement points describes your visibility better than any single check.
How often should I run a scan?+
Weekly suits most businesses: frequent enough to catch a real move, spaced enough that normal day-to-day fluctuation does not read as a trend. If you have just made a significant change to your Google Business Profile, scan before and after so you can attribute the movement.
Can I track more than one location?+
Yes. Locations and their scans live in one dashboard, which is how agencies run dozens of clients side by side without juggling separate logins.
What makes Maprank different from the rank tracking built into Local SEO Bot?+
Same geo-grid engine, different packaging. Local SEO Bot is a done-for-you local SEO service with tracking included; Maprank is that tracking on its own, for people who want the measurement without the service.
